“In a world that is wrought with continual
strife, turmoil, and anger, it seems as if
there is no longer a haven for peace, joy,
understanding, and hope. But in this
world one such place does exist, and it
is known as Galwenor, the realm of Honor.”
~ Darius Warstone
Hero of Galwenor

BAGDEMAGUS

Directly to the south of the province of Weatherleah lies Bagdemagus, a largely coastal region which has begun to see a slightly higher population increase per capita in the last century than any other province in the kingdom. This region has a very diverse landscape, with its northern regions consisting of the Mobrey Mountains and the southern part of the Winter Coast, and the Loki Islands and Northern Downs making up the southern part of the province.

For the Shimazu, the Bagdemagus province is an incredibly valuable resource, being about the only place with a large area for decent farming in the Northern Downs plains. The region still only produces enough food supply to keep the Bagdemagus province supply, but it means less food import for the Shimazu clan and a better chance of self-reliance. Bagdemagus is also the home of Amerok, one of the oldest cities still in existance second only to Azeroth, and a heavily defensive stronghold.

The coastal nature of the Bagdemagus province has given this region the nickname "waterline". This nickname however is more commonly used in shady meaning, often used in conjunction with rumors of pirate bases in the province. In fact, piracy is perhaps the largest risk to the Shimazu clan and its trade in the region. This is why the Shimazu has developed the strongest navy force of any clan. This large marine presence is required, though, for the extensive water area claimed by their clan and which vital supply routes run through.

The names, dates, events, and all other aspects in the campaign setting of Galwenor are all works of fiction by Brett Bandy, Adam Mead, and Hannah Bandy. It is intended purely for imagination and creativity in a fantasy setting.
