“In a world that is wrought with continual
strife, turmoil, and anger, it seems as if
there is no longer a haven for peace, joy,
understanding, and hope. But in this
world one such place does exist, and it
is known as Galwenor, the realm of Honor.”
~ Darius Warstone
Hero of Galwenor

The Warstone clan is not only the oldest in Darecium, but is also the wealthiest in the kingdom. Darius Warstone, the legendary hero and noble of Galwenor, was once the great leader of this clan that forged the alliances which created the kingdom of Darecium. It is not the most militaristic clan, but when the need arises for a military force, the Warstone Clan is a strong foe to challenge. The clan’s true strength, however, is focused towards political and economic dominance. In fact, the Warstone clan has often been the head voice on matters that affect the kingdom, and their understanding and experience in political leadership is not often questioned or taken lightly.

There aren’t extensive farmlands in the Warstone lands like in the Balian clan lands, but they have developed good technological systems to utilize the farmlands they have to the best ability. There are also large ranges of forests throughout the mountainous lands of Galwenor. The real economic power in Warstone is a level system of tariffs and taxes, a scattered array of stone and ore mines, and regions ripe for growing valuable herbs.

Leadership: Ellisa Warstone (LG female elf aristocrat 10/cleric 10)
Ellisa Warstone is a proven leader, even at a relatively young age for an elven noble. She is currently a leading figure in the temple of St. Cuthbert, but does not consider herself much of a holy or divinely favored individual. She takes pride in learning many aspects of leadership including military command and local lore and how to stir her people with a common interest. Her father, Rynold, the last leader of the Warstone clan, was gravely injured in a battle thirty years ago, and turned the rule of the clan to his only daughter, Ellisa.

Capital: Azeroth (Large City approx. 148,000; 75% human, 15% elf, 5% half-elf, 5% other)
Azeroth, the capital, is the largest city in the kingdom and is a major hub for trade. Shipping and trade does not play as large of a role in the city’s economics as in Carthien, but there is no other city in the kingdom with as many craftsmen and artisans. It is where inspiration, art, creativity, and engineering explode forth in a brilliant culture. This influential city has kept the Warstone clan a major power in the kingdom, but has also caused it to be a very big target in the past for conquest.

Provinces: Argony, Boudwin, Colovia, Thelos

Military: Military – Strong (14,000 infantry, 4,000 cavalry, 2,000 additional)
The Warstone clan was forged with a strong military history and has been involved with several wars throughout the centuries. It may not be the strongest military clan in the kingdom, but it has most likely the second most powerful standing military and naval fleet. The recent years of relative peace has made the Warstone clan tone down it military might, focusing more on economic growth. Their military, however, have been training and experimenting with new armaments brought in from the foreign traders known as The Newcomers.
