“In a world that is wrought with continual
strife, turmoil, and anger, it seems as if
there is no longer a haven for peace, joy,
understanding, and hope. But in this
world one such place does exist, and it
is known as Galwenor, the realm of Honor.”
~ Darius Warstone
Hero of Galwenor

The Whitewick clan has long been known as a peaceful and prosperous land. The clan is known for being a very open land, trying to improve trading and traveling in the regions to boost the economy. But overall the people of this clan tend to keep to themselves. They enjoy relative peace and content in standard simple lives, normally avoiding conflicts with other clans. However, the clan has maintained a standing army to protect this peaceful pace to everyday life of the people in their clan.

The clan claims the provinces furthest to the south of Galwenor, a region with several rolling valleys and a warmer climate allowing for a large number of farms and from this a large produce base. While the region has ample lands for cultivating, it does not normally yield the great numbers of produce of the Balian clan regions simply due to the fact that fewer farmers dot the lands in the provinces compared to the farming regions of the Balian clan. The lands are also dotted with the usual resources such as timber and a couple stone quarries and mines, but its warmer climate allows for the growth of many various spices and herbs.

Leadership: Leoning Whitewick (NG male elf wizard 20)
Leoning Whitewick is a well-respected scholar and magician who has spent the long years of his elven life handling all aspects of his clan to bring about a strong, harmonious, prosperous people. Leoning has mastered arcane skills and abilities that other sorcerers have only read about. He is also seen as a great creative mind, and has engineered several structures throughout the clan’s land, and has personally established the largest library of collected written works of all kinds in the capital city, Orleans.

Capital: Orleans (Large City approx. 108,000; 70% human, 15% elf, 5 % half-elf, 10% other)
The capitol city, Orleans, is not quite a major trading center like Carthien or Azeroth, but still is the center of trade for the southern region of Galwenor. It is home to two well known institutions. The first is the largest library of collected written works in all of Galwenor. It was started by the father of the current clan leader, Leoning Whitewick, and today is the center of research for numerous groups and events. The second institution is the Mage’s Guild, a collective group of powerful arcanists who have studied all different matters of magic for hundreds of years. It has even evolved to be an advisory council to the Whitewick noble family on many aspects.

Provinces: Guildervale, Silma

Military: Strong (10,000 infantry, 2,000 cavalry, 2,000 supporting)
While the clan has not gotten involved with military conflicts often, they have continued to maintain a strong military presence and trained well in martial skills, which has helped to maintain their peaceful structured life. Still, Leoning Whitewick is well known to always approach conflicts with discussion, diplomacy, and compromise wherever possible. Most of the military force in the clan is used as warden forces for the lands.
