 Eross Silverstar Race: Elf Class: Fighter 3 / Wizard 2 Alignment: CG Caste: Merchant Age: 203 Height: 5'10" Weight: 166 lb. This quiet and collected young elven warrior has had a somewhat difficult past. Living his entire life in the mysterious and isolated ancient village of Artesia, he has had little chance to travel and thus has little understanding of the greater world beyond his limited traveling and what he has studied in books. He has never known his father and has no other siblings. Eross' mother, Melyonna Silverstar, became the somewhat elected magistrate of the village, filling her days from morning to dusk with a multitude of duties. She is very secretive and sometimes seems unaffectionate towards Eross even, and it is for these reasons he feels he doesn't even know her. Eross' family owns the largest manor in the small village, which has become a sort of soldier barracks as well as local forge for the rather impressive group of soldiers that protect the village from foreigners. At a young age Eross took interest in the forge at his house and began as an apprentice to the smith there, repairing and forging simple tools or mechanical objects. As he grew and his experience and skill increased he took on larger and more difficult projects, such as a heavy large warhammer made partly from an ornate solid metal staff he was given as a present from his mother. With his mother being closely tied with the guards of Artesia, Eross was expected to become a member of the guarding soldiers of the village. It is a post that he does not mind, however, taking to the training and physical combat with relative ease and enjoyment. In a way, he feels it may be a way that he can connect with his mother. Before Eross began martial training officially with the village's knights and soldiers, he was already working hard in developing his combat skills. His mother was well known as a powerful warrior, and the only thing Eross even knew of his grandfather was that he as well was a powerful warrior. It seemed to be in his blood. While his martial practices focused mainly on physical melee combat, he also became rather skilled with the bow. Eross' unique strength comes with the combination of his melee strengths and magical aptitude. For many years he has been researching and practicing arcane magic, but utilizes it more to enhance and advance his martial abilities. For a long time, Eross has believed that his family has had a long secret. He often is overly-hard on himself, feeling that he must have done something wrong or is not good enough to be trusted with this secret.
