LORRISE To the east of Bagdemagus is the most northern province of the Balian clan. Lorrise is a relatively prosperous region with ample lands for farming but few other natural resources. Like its neighbor, Bagdemagus, this province is considered largely a coastal region, but lacks the amount of waterways or ports of Bagdemagus. The Balian clan has a strong military presence in this region with several rebuilt and strongly fortified castles protecting key locations. The largest city in Lorrise is called East Anglia and was once the small capital of a minor clan centuries ago. Another historical location in Lorrise is near a village named Badonhill where a tremendous battle was once fought during the War of Heroes. It was at this battle that the great elven swordsman Kumachi became first noticed when he cut his way through vast numbers of enemy soldiers and charged directly at their commander to defeat him with a single move in single combat. The names, dates, events, and all other aspects in the campaign setting of Galwenor are all works of fiction by Brett Bandy, Adam Mead, and Hannah Bandy.
